Bio
Nick Lorenzini is a Seattle-area woodworker. He began his career at a small Georgetown wood shop, LR Woodworking, where he specialized in milling and assembling outdoor cedar furniture. After a year there, he moved on to Blackstock Lumber and Custom Millworking. At Blackstock, he was a member of the Carpenter’s Union for four years and completed a six month woodworking apprenticeship. Nick continued millworking at Stewart Lumber and Hardware for an additional two years.
During the peak of COVID, he spent a year at Tweedy Popp ACE Hardware, learning about fasteners, finishes, and different building ideas and techniques. While at ACE in 2021, Nick used the opportunity to build, set up, and begin operation of his own wood shop, Lorenzini Woodwork, which has now become his main focus. He has already designed and completed several outstanding commissioned projects and cemented his own style as a professional woodworker. He continues to serve the Seattle area–adventuring and learning more everyday. Nick knows that his journey is lifelong–there will always be more to explore, more to accomplish. With his wife, Kelly, at his side, he hopes to build his business into one that allows him to focus on design, making a distinct mark on the Seattle woodworking industry. We hope to hear from you soon!
